New 2020/2021 Red Lake Fishing Regulations
WINTER WALLEYE

  • The Daily Limit: (3) walleyes with not more than ONE walleye over 17 inches

  • Possession Limit: An angler's possession limit can not excede their daily limit.
WINTER NORTHERN PIKE

  • Protected Slot: All pike between 30 to 40 inches must be released.

  • The Daily Limit: (3) northern pike with NONE in the protected slot.

  • Possession Limit: An angler's possession limit can not excede their daily limit.
WINTER CRAPPIE

  • Protected Slot: None.

  • The Daily Limit: (10)


Proper Fish Packaging Methods

  • All fish filets must have at least (1) square inch of skin for identification.
  • All filets must be packaged individually, not in pile, for counting purposes.

BOUNDARY INFORMATION:
BORDER: ( Stay east of longitudinal coordinate 94° 43' 12.0" W ) (summer/winter)

  • Closed Fishing: All portions of Red Lake within the Indian Reservation are closed to non-band members.

  • GPS Compliance: Anglers near border are responsible for knowing their exact location. (Don't Guess!)

  • Border Fine: Individuals who enter tribal lands are subject to fines by tribal council. (Don't Risk It!)
