We have a Guest Reporter
this Week!
Thanks for the great weekend JR. Our group stayed from
Thursday to Saturday and we caught 45 fish. Except for six,
they were all walleyes. We caught all of our fish in 13 feet
of water, about 1 foot off the bottom. We found that a green
jig tipped with a fathead was the best bait. Thanks for the
good times!

JR's Report
Thanks for the tips guys. We've seen good numbers of
"slot" fish this last week, but the walleye are definitely
acting a bit more finicky. Aggressive jigging just
seems to spook the fish. The anglers using fineness
techniques are definitely catching the most fish right now.
Rattle reels and dead stick techniques are the way to go
right now. The big northern continue to bite and we're
starting to see an occasion nice crappie here and there. We
currently have over 12 miles of good plowed roads on the
lake. The anglers that are able to get away from the crowds
and find the roughed up ice are the people having the best
luck finding the crappies. Our Access is just 5.4
miles away from Center Bar and there’s nobody closer to it
on the lake.
We're Booked!
We're currently booked every weekend until the end on
walleye season! Thanks everybody for such a great year. We
still have some openings during the middle of the week
however. Give us a call and find out about our mid week
specials on ice houses.
More Guest Reports, and their picture, yet to come!
Stay tuned and
Good Fishing!
