I had the opportunity to experience the Canadian fly-in fishing trip of a lifetime this last summer. The Red Lake Crew and I flew to northern Canada and spend a week with the friendly folks at Showalter's Resort. We spent the entire week at one of Showalter's exclusive fly-in lakes and the walleye fishing was nothing short of spectacular. We stayed at one of Showalter's modern outposts and we had the entire lake to ourselves. The walleye fishing was nonstop and the big pike were eager to smack any lure we threw at them. I would highly recomended Showalter's Fly-In Resort to anyone wishing to experience Canadian fishing at its finest. A special thanks to Eddy and the rest of the Showalter's crew.
